[Open Topped] Puppets War conversion bits

Mam dla was drugą już recenzję napisaną przez kolegę Relaxa. Tym razem wziął na warsztat Puppets War. To koleina polska firma z dużym potencjałem posiadająca już znaczny dorobek figurek,
które można podziwiać na ich stronie firmowej. Oprócz licznych akcesoriów i bitsów firma produkuje też żywiczne odlewy własnych figurek, pojazdów i elementów terenu. Większość z nich nadaje się do wykorzystania w systemach Games Workshopu.

Teraz o samych figurkach. Są to dosyć przyzwoite odlewy, które umożliwiają łatwe spersonalizowanie armii, lub ewentualne konwersje. Przykłady naramienników i główek poniżej:

I have got another review penned by my friend Relax. This time he focused on Puppets War. This is another polish company with a huge potential and amount of bits and minis on offer. Apart from conversion bits, they also carry their own minis, vehicles and terrain bits. Most of them are scaled for use in Games Workshop game systems.

Now about the minis themselves. These are quite decent casts, that allow you to personilise your army and perform conversions. Below are examples of shoulder pads and heads:

Niestety w odlewach (zwłaszcza starszych) zdarzają się liczne błędy. Przykładowo często pojawiający się defekt naramienników (niezależnie od wielkości i formy):

Unfortunatelly, the casts (especially the older ones) have plenty miscasts, For instance, the most common shoulder pad miscast that happens no matter the size of the mould:

Można to łatwo zaszpachlować, jednak jeśli się tego nie zrobi to efekt jest niezbyt ciekawy (zdjęcie poniżej).

You can easily fix it with some sculpey . green stuff, but if you don't, the end result on your mini might turn out like below.

Tym niemniej firmę warto polecić ze względu na szybko powiększany asortyment figurek (średnio nowa rzeźba w około 10 dni) oraz aktualność wzorów (np bronie i elementy o jakich GW zapomniało, lub ma je pokraczne). Wykorzystując niezbyt drogie części Puppets War możecie nadać znanym figurkom zupełnie nowy wygląd.

Nevertheless, the company is growing fast broadening their stock and variety of bits on offer (on average there's a new sculpt every ten days) and they have plenty of bits GW forgot about or the design is poor. Using the bits from Puppets War, you can customize the generic mini with ease.
