MegaNoby wer.2 / MegaNobz MkII
W przygotowaniach do armii na Apocalypse, tworzę 15tu mniejszych MegaNobów z Black Orców z Fantasy. Oto rezultat, stoją na podstawkach mojej produkcji.
In preparation do Apocalypse games I am making 15 smaller Meganobz; out of Black Orcs from Fantasy Battle. This is the result so far, on bases of my making.

Mineło trochę czasu, nie update'owałem bloga. Wszystko to przez łatwość z jaką mogę update'ować swoją stronę na FB. No ale czas to zmienić. A więc co się działo?
Trochę się pomalowało, ale wrzucę fotki jak się pokończy. Na razie dwa battle reporty, które nagraliśmy z Deicide'm podczas przygotowań do turnieju w Port Łódź 14 września. Miłego oglądania!
Dodatkowo, filmik, na którym maluję 18 budynków na tenże turniej. Budynki wykonane przez Figs Factory.
Some time has passed since I last updated the blog. It's all due to the ease I can udpate my FB page. Time to change things up. So, what's been going on?
I have painted several things, but like it is with orks, not all of it is finished, so I will post pics only when I'm done with the models. For now I present you two battle reports we recorded with Deicide during our practice games for a local tourney. Enjoy!
Also, there's me speedpainting lots of buildings by Figs Factory.

Moi drodzy! Przyszła ta chwila, kiedy mam przyjemność recenzować produkt rodzimej marki. SPELLCROW i ich orcze odlewy. W recenzji poniżej...
For all the English speaking / reading folk, my review below:
SPELLCROW is a polish manufacturer of Fantasy and Sci-Fi miniatures and bits. Not sure when they opened the business exactly, but so far they have achieved a high quality of their products and are keeping an excellent level of customer service.
What I purchased from them is as follows:
Orks Mechanical Claws - 8.00 Euros
Orc Doctor - 10.90 Euros
Bulky Orcs Cyber Heads - 8.00 Euros
The package was reasonably priced. I paid very little for local postage. Items were delivered in a cardboard box with some styrofoam bits to protect them from squishing.
On all of the elements you can see amazingly crisp detail. There are no bubbles whatsoever! I would say at time there's too much resin, but it can be easily removed. There are plenty of "tags" marked, so it's easier for you to realise which part to get rid off and which one should say.
The arms on the Orc Doctor have a lot of spare resin around the connection area, so there's no problem in removing it, but I must admit I was scared at first. Don't be, it was easy peasy!
Overall I am extremely impressed with the quality of the product and service. You can contact them via their FB page and they will answer shortly. Great job guys! If you asked which company should you order your bits, I would say: if you're from Poland, go ahead with Spellcrow. If not, go ahead with them anyway!

Stół do skirmishy / Skirmish table
Pod pojęciem "skirmishy" mam oczywiście Malifaux, ale nie wykluczam jakichś innych systemów (Mordheim, Warheim?) czy mniejszych potyczek w systemach, w które już gram (40k, WFB). Ale przede wszystkim Malifaux.
Wraz ze wschodem, że tak powiem, najnowszej wersji, postanowiłem wrócić do mojego drugiego ulubionego systemu i dorobić sobie stół, który niekoniecznie będzie mi zajmował całą jadalnię. Tak więc udałem się na zakupy i po 24 godzinach stół już był gotowy i wysychał.
Poniżej w kilku punktach pokazuję co i jak zrobić.

With the appearance of 2nd edition beta rules I decided to come back to my second favourite game system and get a table that would not take over the whole eating area in my house. So, off to the shops I went and in less than 24 hours the table was done and ready for drying.
Below is what I have done in few steps.
Zakupiłem płytę ze sklejki trzy stopy na trzy. UWAGA! W Leroy Merlin nie wiedzą co to stopy. 91,5x91,5cm. Do tego cztery listewki 15x15x100, butelkla PVA / wikolu, puszka czarnej farby akrylowej matowej / satynowej oraz piasek (ten już miałem).
I have bought a ply wood board of 3"x3" or 91,5x91,5cm if you wish, four 15x15x100 pieces of wood, bottle of PVA, a can of black satin / matt acrylic paint and sand (this I had already).
Przymocowałem listewki na brzegach. Wzmocniło to nieco gibką płytę i daje możliwość uchwycenia. Od spodu przykleiłem filcowe podkładki (takie jak do krzeszeł).
I have mounted those pieces of wood to strengthen woobly ply of wood and to have something to hold on to while moving it around. Soft sliders have been attached underneath.
Warstwa wikolu i piasek.
Layer of PVA and sand
Kolejna warstwa wikolu, tym razem bez piasku, aby wzmocnić mocowanie piasku.
Another layer of PVA, no sand this time, to increase the hold of sand to the board.
Warstwa czarnej farby. Gruba warstwa, dodatkowo przytrzymuje piasek oraz stanowi podłoże pod malowanie.
A layer of black paint. Thick, to strengthen the grip of sand and prepare the basecoat for further painting.
Losowe placki różnych odcieni brązu, troche mieszanek. Ogólnie Scorched Brown (odpowiednik) oraz drybrushe Bestial Brown i Bleached Bone / Bestial Brown (1:1).
Random splats of different shades of browns. Scroched Brown (equivalent) and Bestial Brown and Bleached Bone / Bestial Brown (1:1).
Placki trawy.
Spots of grass.
I gotowe! Na szybko ustawiony teren. Domek w rogu będzie malowany następny.
And voila! It's done. Quick setup of terrain. The grey house in the corner will be painted next.
