Favourite color scheme of an army or paints? When it comes to a color scheme it has to be the Goff Clan scheme of an ork army. It's simple, effective and easy to apply in short time. However, to make it look propah gud, you need to invest time in chipping and detail work. Very complex stuff. When we talk paints, I got my duo of paints: Nuln Oil & Agrax Earthshade. These two are so versatile, you can get amazing results by mixing them with other paints. Yes yes, not only covering you half assed models you botched up in half an hour. Proper mixing and application makes the model look astonishing. It's a secret weapon of our famous polish painters like C'Tan, Rudyk or Bohun. I try to copy their style and imitate results. Thanks to these two you and a little bit of time (max four hours per Golden Demon standard mini) you can achieve similar results as the aforementioned. PS The part about the paints is an obvious joke. I am a huge fan of the mentioned artists and my skills are not even on the scale with them... but they most probably use washes to something. Like spicing their tea!

Twój ulubiony schemat kolorystyczny armii lub ulubione kolory farb? Jeśli chodzi o schemat kolorystyczny to najbardziej lubię Goff Clan orkowy. A to dlatego, że w miarę prosto się go maluje, ale żeby go zrobić dobrze, to trzeba się jednak napracować. Te wszystkie kratki, ząbki i inne pierdółki. Jeśli chodzi o farbkę to mój utalentowany duet: Nuln Oil & Agrax Earthshade. Te dwie farbki są tak wszechstronne, że można uzyskać niesamowite efekty mieszając je z innymi kolorami. Tak tak, nie tylko pokrywając uprzednio koślawo pomalowaną figurkę. Odpowiednie wymieszanie tych farbek z żółtym powoduje, że po nałożeniu na model wygląda rewelacyjnie. Jest to tajna metoda polskich malarzy takich jak C'Tan, Rudyk czy Bohun, których usilnie naśladuję i studiuję ich metody. Dzięki tym dwóm farbkom i odrobinie czasu (nie za dużo, max cztery godzinki na model do wystawienia na Golden Demon) jesteście w stanie osiągnąć poziom, wcześniej wspomnianych. Polecam! PS Część o farbkach jest oczywiście żartem :) Jestem wielkim fanem wymienionych artystów i gdzie mi tam do nich... ale i tak na pewno używają washy do czegoś. Na przykład do herbaty!

 

30 day Hobby Challenge #16 / 30 dniowe Wyzwanie Figurkowe #16

Favourite tactics: offense or defense? Since I mostly play Orks I think there is no surprise in my choice: offence! Mostly it works, more often it doesn't work, but I get the fun out of my opponents' faces anyway. The sad realization thet they are being charge by dispensable units with strength 4 attacks... priceless. I like to suprise them like that, but sometimes I also like to sneak around, do the crawl up the edge or deep strike in the back... it never ends well for me.

Ulubiona taktyka, czyli atak czy obrona? Nie ma się co tutaj rozpisywać... zawsze atak! W końcu gram orkami. Czasami się uda, w większości przypadków nie, ale mina przeciwników, którzy nagle muszą dać sobie radę z kilkudziesięcioma atakami z siłą 4 jest bezcenna. Lubię zaskakiwać w ten sposób, lecz czasami, coś mnie tknie i gram bardziej podstępnie, zbliżając się i robiąc delikatne podejścia, kombinacje... nigdy się to dla mnie dobrze nie kończy.

What's the smallest model you have played with or painted? I think this would have to be the Flames of War army I have painted some years ago. I bought a lot of Shermans, a lot of infantry and painted the lot in one week. But... these were some seriously small models. I couldn't do much details on them, that's why I didn't get the hobby side of it really. Soon I sold them all and moved back to 40k.  Below some pics of the first batch of the models I painted, old photos I could find.

Najmniejszy model jaki pomalowałeś lub którym dowodziłeś? Kiedyś kiedyś miałem całą armię do Flames of War. Zakupiłem masę Shermanów, masę piechoty i pomalowałem to wszystko w jeden długi tydzień. Niestety nie dało rady robić ciekawych szczegółów na tej piechocie i modelach ogólnie, dlatego też strona modelarska mnie nie porwała. Wkrótce wróciłem znowu do 40tki.. Poniżej stare fotki pierwszej partii pomalowanych figurek jakie mogłem znaleźć.

Favourite type of terrain, battle ground or a diorama? When it comes to my gaming tables I don't have a particular type I like, but I got my favourite set ups. Let's go. For my small games, where there should be no or very little vehicles, I like very congested city terrain. That's why you can see such in my battle reports. For bigger games I like almost empty tables. Couple buildings here and there, some trees, hills and that's it. A lot of space to manouver around. In general I do not like to play on an unfinished tables, with unfinished models, but it doesn't have to be a Warhammer World level of table to be pleasant.  The models should be the focuse point, not the terrain, but the more details there are the better.

Ulubiony rodzaj pola bitwy, element terenu lub makieta? Jeśli chodzi o teren do gry, to w sumie nie mam nic ulubionego, ale mam ulubione typy ustawień. Tak więc zaczynajmy. Do małych gier, gdzie nie będzie lub też nie powinno być zbyt dużo pojazdów, to na pewno lubię gęsto zagęszczone tereny miejskie. Dlatego też na moich raportach można takie spotkać. Lubię także, do większych gier, puste zupełnie stoły z kilkoma elementami, budynkami a tak poza tym jakaś skałka, lasek i koniec. Ogólnie nie lubię grać na nie skończonych stołach, niepomalowanymi modelami, ale nie przesadzając, nie muszę grać na dioramie. Oczywiście im więcej detali, tym lepiej, ale to jednak modele mają być w centrum zainteresowania.
